If there is one thing I love, it’s getting the kids outdoors. Because really.. what’s better for the soul than a bit of fresh air and sunshine? Especially in this day and age.

And I’m up for anything that encourages a bit of outdoor play. So to say I was stoked when Toby got a new board from Dune Sand and Skate is an understatement.

Swapping subway surfer for the real deal, Toby hasn’t stopped riding his new baord since he got his little hands on it, keeping his body and mind active. And I LOVE IT!

Hand crafted by local Tim Fleming, these incredibly smooth riding boards are not just your average board. Designer Tim Fleming, recycles quality timber that would have gone to waste, creating bespoke one off eco-friendly boards that will make your little skaters the envy of the town.

Named after Western Australian natives like Stone Fish and Numbat, this eco-warrior lets the wood decide it’s final destination by working with the grain and shape to minimize wastage without compromising on quality or design. The result, hand-crafted upcycled boards that have their own unique story behind them.

But this brand doesn’t stop there. After having his own little skaters, Tim soon realised there was a lack of hand-crafted kids decor that caters for the little board riders of the world and began making his own custom made wall art. Available in the latest on trend colours, these skate-deck pieces create a pop of colour, a splash of cool and an instant update to any interior.
