Inspired by a little purchase from COTTON ON KIDS, I decided to attempt my own DIY version of a wall hanging DIY ‘love’ sign.
All you need is some wire, a pair of pliers, hot glue gun and cord or rope in preferred colour. I opted for yellow as I love a pop of sunshine in my kids spaces (and it was all I had laying around at the time).
Procedure:
- Lay out the rope/cord in the desired type or shape. Its easier to play with the rope until you have the wording or shape you like before attempting the wire (cut the rope at least 10cm longer to allow for extra length if needed).
- Once you are happy with your creation, bend the wire to match the shape of your design.
- Using a hot glue gun, glue into place and whola! DIY complete!
This DIY was soooo simple that even my husband made his own little fish to hang in our little boy’s room, and it turned out super cute!
