Linen – it is such a cost effective way to instantly update and freshen up a space. My favourite type of bed-linen for a kids room is something with a simple design on a crisp white background – and polka-dots would have to be my all time can’t-go-wrong go-to-print!

I love the way simplistic linen designs allow you to layer throws and change up pillowcases with ease. It’s kind of like having those really good ‘wardrobe essentials’ but for a bed!

Melbourne based designer Lucy Miller of Little Louli creates just that and more.

While playful and fun, her work also has a very organic, natural and chilled out vibe. And for people who love to change up their interiors, Little Louli is perfect place to start.

All designs are hand drawn by Lucy, then printed onto 100% cotton in her Geelong based studio. Her mix and match designs allow you to tailor your bed linen selections to suit any interior. And the designs are so versatile that they are suitable for kids big and small – from newborns to toddlers and teens!

I have picked out a few of my faves above (it was VERY hard to choose) from Lucy’s site, but I suggest you check out the entire range yourself by clicking on the link below!
