Sustainable Living – Rustic Tiny House with Vintage Charm!
My partner and I have been enjoying the south coast over the past few years, with many trips down to the sleepy little town of Nornalup in Western Australia. Surrounded by the majestic Karri forest and just a stones throw from the beautiful Blackwood River, this quaint little off the grid getaway is the perfect nature retreat.ABOVE: The ‘camp kitchen’ has been remade using all recyclable reclaimed materials.
When my partner first purchased this block, we were both in love with the character and charm of the little features that had been there since to 1960’s. In particular there was this quaint but very dilapidated old camp kitchen (above). All that was needed was an eye for design and a little creativity to turn this run down little shack into something magical.

Yes, extremely basic for some, but for those who are at peace being immersed in nature and love feeling like they have done their best to live a little more sustainably, this place is in my eyes… pure perfection! Just have a look at some of the images below.

It is still very mush a work in progress but we will be adding photos to this blog over the next few years.
